Our urban trees
need your help

Save Our Street Trees Northampton is run entirely by non-salaried Northamptonshire volunteers. Other than donations from local people and businesses – we don’t have any other regular funding. We’re a not-for-profit community group (not a registered charity) with any donations going towards our activities.

Your donation will help us promote, protect and plant street trees in your town. We work closely with Northampton’s unitary authorities, environmental organisations and other partners to improve the health and wellbeing of Northampton residents and the local environment through our tree projects.

Our work

Since 2016, we’ve been helping to promote, protect and replant urban trees in Northampton. Our work focuses on trees on highways, streets and parks in the town, which have been lost and not replaced. We also work on urban orchard projects. We believe stronger tree policies and expert tree officers can help better maintain existing trees and allow for new trees to be planted. We are passionate about bringing trees and greenery closer to people’s homes – because this has been proven to offer the biggest benefits for the local environment, economy, wildlife and people.
